Born into a biracial and multi-cultural family, Scott de Paz was interested in cultural narratives and storytelling from a young age. Often times inspired by ancient mythology, de Paz investigates archetypes and legends with a 21st century perspective in order to dissect our own politics of identity, faith, ethnicity, and gender.

She attended The Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh on exchange in 2013, where she played in The Fringe.
